Manchester tragedy 2017

It is with sadness that we hear the news unfolding of the horror of the bomb in the Manchester Arena and the tragic loss of life of 22 people. Our sincere sympathies are extended to the people of Manchester and especially to those who are bereaved. We will hold you in our prayers. The shadow of hate continues to hold humanity in its grip. It is our prayer that that shadow will be exposed and healed with the light of love – the love of God for all humanity.

A book of condolence has now been placed in the cathedral for anyone who wishes to sign.

Dermot Dunne, Dean.
