The Church of Ireland Historical Society’s bi-annual conference will take place in Christ Church Cathedral Music Room on 5th November. It promises a wide-ranging selection of lectures including Bronagh McShane speaking about clerical wives in early modern Ireland, Judith Hill on the Chapel Royal and Heather Jones discussing Irish commemoration of the First World War. The conference will also mark the launch of Kenneth Milne and Paddy McNally (eds), The Boulter Letters.
