In honour of International Tourist Guide Day 2024, we’ve two free cathedral & crypt guided tours scheduled on this date at 11:00 and 15:00. A fun and informative visit with one of our professional guides, all storytellers and cathedral
experts. Guided tours last approximately 30 minutes. This tour is available in English only. Bookings on a first come first serve basis, regular cathedral admission applies. Maximum capacity per tour is 24 people.
To celebrate the skills of professional tourist guides in their localities the World Federation of Tourist Guide Association (WFTGA) initiated the ITGD – the International Tourist Guides Day – on or near the 21st February every year. This commemorates the day when the WFTGA was formed and since the 1990s, guide associations have offered free tours and events to local people to showcase our skills in our own communities.
