For almost 20 year’s Aidlink have been working in partnership the Girl Child Network Kenya in order to support girls in school. Currently, a severe and protracted drought is devastating the Horn of Africa, including parts of Kenya where our programmes are based. Over 4 million Kenyan’s are extremely food insecure and are in need of urgent humanitarian food aid, while approximately 942,000 children under the age of 5 are suffering from acute malnutrition.
This December, join Aidlink and St Mary’s College Singers for a night of Christmas Carols. Proceeds from this concert will support Aidlink and Girl Child Network’s emergency drought response in Kenya: to support communities living on the frontline of climate change and to help protect children by ensuring there is food and water in schools. Your support can make a significant impact in supporting children through this period of food insecurity.
