It is with deep sadness that we learned of the death of Michael Denton on Thursday 8 January. Michael has been a regular member of the cathedral congregation for many years and Administrator of the cathedral during the tenure of the late Dean Harmon co

ntinuing on in the early years of Dean Dermot Dunne’s tenure. Michael was a loyal servant of the cathedral who gave of his best to everything he did. He has served the cathedral well and participated in bringing the cathedral to where it is now through his membership of the board. We shall miss his presence in the cathedral. We wish to offer our deepest sympathies to Margaret his wife, and all his family. May their grief be tinged with happy memories of a man who gave of his best to his family and to the community at large.

His funeral will take place in the cathedral on Monday 12 January at 11am.
