Join the Church’s Ministry of Healing: Ireland from November 25th – December 16th, Mondays at 11.30am – 1.00pm for our online Advent Series ‘My Dwelling Place’.

The title evokes so many images and wondering questions. We can ask ourselves where our thoughts dwell or what story of our lives do we dwell on? My dwelling place can be where I live, or the body I inhabit. But it can also be where I feel at home, at ease, accepted and have a sense of belonging, tucked into God’s heart.

The sessions will run as a series of online mini-retreats with guest contributors sharing stories that capture for them what their ‘dwelling place’ is.

Then facilitators Lydia Monds & Carol Casey will offer a piece of scripture and/or a poem or piece of art, and people will be given the opportunity to sit with it, to wonder about it, and then to slow right down and to pray about it, listening to God’s voice in this season.

We particularly want to welcome people who find the build up to Christmas difficult, for whatever reason, and who might enjoy a quiet time to rest in their true belonging.
