Sermon delivered by The Revd Canon Dr John Bartlett June 2014

We have welcomed this morning through Baptism a new member into Christ‘s church. You might expect me to say something about the meaning of baptism, but the words of the service itself have done that, at some length, and I want to speak rather, and I hope relevantly, of the religious world into which our newly baptized will grow up, a world in which Islam is rivalling Christianity for religious world dominance.
