Trad Fest 2012 at Christ Church Cathedral

The Templebar Trad Fest will take place from the Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 January. Christ Church Cathedral is delighted to announce that it will play host to four high-profile concerts, including The Dubliners’ 50th anniversary concert, as well as a number of free events in the Crypt and outside on the grounds.

 

Concerts at the Cathedral

Wed 25 at 8pm   Michael McGoldrick and Trio with Sephira

Thurs 26 at 8pm   Ralph McTell with Orlaith Keane

Fri 27 & Sat 28 at 8pm   The Dubliners’ 50th Anniversary Concert

 

Free Events in the Crypt

Sat 28 from 11am-4pm     Genealogy

Sat 28 from 11am-4pm    Craft and Design Market

Sat 28 at 1pm & 2.30pm   Story Telling with Nuala Hayes and Anne Marie O’Farrell (**€3)

 

Outdoor Events

Sat 28 at 12pm   High Nellie Race

Sat 28 / Sun 29  Rural Village and Animal Farm

 

Outdoor Food Market   Sat 28 and Sun 29 from 11am-4pm

Courtesy of Irish Village Markets, there will be a food market on the grounds of the Cathedral. Offering the freshest of local produce, these chefs and bakers all share a passion and appreciation for quality Irish & international gourmet foods. Stalls will include gourmet burgers, Malaysian food, baked goods, homemade delights including fudges and jams, soups and sausage rolls and much more. See here for further details.
