UPDATE: Details for the Week 11th December – 15th December 2017.

With our ‘Carols by Candlelight’ concerts, PEATA Carol Service and much more going on, this week is certainly a busy one! As such, there will be some small changes to our normal service schedule this week.

PEATA Carol Service – Tuesday 12th December
We have our annual PEATA Carol Service, an absolute highlight of the year at Christ Church where the PEATA therapy dogs, and all other dogs too, are welcomed with open arms for a service of blessing, led by the Dean and the Girl Choristers. The service starts at 1.15pm.

Because of the set up required, there will be no celebration of the Eucharist at 12.45, but all are warmly encouraged to come (with their dog if possible!) to our PEATA Carol Service at 1.15pm.

‘Carols by Candlelight’ Concerts – Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th & Thursday 14th December
There will be no sung Compline on Tuesday and no Choral Evensong on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Evening Prayer will take place at 5pm on all days this week to which all are very welcome to attend.

Cathedral Closure – Friday 15th December
Last admission to Christ Church will be at 12.30pm this Friday, 15th December. All are welcome to attend Eucharist at 12.45 and the cathedral will close afterward, and reopen as normal on Saturday morning at 9.30am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
