Christ Church Cathedral would like to thank everyone who gives regularly to support the cathedral’s ministry.

If you would like to support the cathedral on an ongoing basis, there are two options available. All financial details are kept secure and confidential.

If you attend services regularly and would like to give weekly, Weekly Contribution Envelopes are available. Please contact Desmond Campbell for more information.

If you prefer, you can also give by standing order. To set this up, please complete the standing order form and return it to Cathedral Finance Team.

There is no minimum amount required to give regularly. However, Irish taxpayers who donate €250 or more in a calendar year allow Christ Church Cathedral to claim a tax refund on their donation.

To qualify for this tax refund:

• you must be registered for PAYE or be self-assessed for tax
• you must have paid enough tax in the relevant tax year

For eligible donors, donations are increased at the current rate of 31%. This means that every €100 donated is worth €145 to the cathedral.

Receipts are issued once a year. You will be asked to complete and sign a CHY charity certificate, confirming the donations made and allowing the cathedral to claim the tax refund. You do not need to take any action on your own tax return.

All donations are greatly appreciated. Smaller contributions are very welcome, and every gift helps support the work of Christ Church Cathedral.
