A series of reflection evenings will take place over 4 Wednesdays during Lent:
Each evening will run 19.00 – 20.00. The journey through Lent provides an annual opportunity to set aside extra time for reflection and to be open to experiencing renewal. This year, as we enjoy many aspects of the return to ‘normal’ life, there is perhaps also the need to make space to reflect on and to acknowledge how the pandemic has impacted us. In what ways was it easy or difficult to experience God as refuge and stronghold during the events of the last 2 years? How do we carry the sense of God as refuge and stronghold going forward, in the face of any challenges or difficulties that may come?
Each session will include lectio divina style reflection on 1-2 of the Sunday lectionary readings, allowing space for silence, sharing and suggestions for prayer. Contact the Dean’s Vicar on ei.hcruhctsirhc@liagiba for further information.
