Fingal Chamber Choir and Enchiriadis on Saturday 24th May at 7.30pm
An Evening of Choral Music in Christ Church Cathedral, the proceeds of which are being donated to the restoration of St Columbaâs Church in Swords. The site is where St Colm Cille (aka St Columba) himself lived, where Brian Boru and his son were waked before being brought up to Armagh AND (if rumour is to be believed) the burial site of some of Tom Cruiseâs ancestors (we have our historians working on that one!).
The Cruiser aside, itâd be a crime against Irish history and heritage to let this place go to ruin.
The concert takes place on Saturday 24th May at 7.30pm and features Fingal Chamber Choir (who have sang at several services on RTÉ over the years) with Enchiriadis from Malahide as guests.
It promises to be a fantastic evening in a beautiful setting. Tickets are €15 available from helpusmakehistory.org or at the door on the night. The programme includes Vivaldiâs Gloria and other choral favourites.
