Across the season of Lent this year Christ Church Cathedral have focused on the theme ‘Refuge and Stronghold’ as we have made space to offer prayers for healing and peace. At the beginning of Holy Week you are invited to join us for this evening to experience a sense of pilgrimage within the cathedral space.
This is a contemplative evening featuring contemporary dance by Maria Nilsson Waller, atmospheric organ music by Jehan Alain and Arvo Part, and the opportunity to make your own journey through the cathedral space, led by the Dean’s Vicar, the Revd Abigail Sines.
All are welcome. This is a free event, followed by tea and coffee. Donations in aid of our Cathedral of Sanctuary work relating to direct provision.
