Enjoy a lunchtime recital today at 13:30 performed by the Saint Patrick Parish Choir. Admission to the recital is included in the usual cathedral entry.
Brian James Bacon, Jr. is a liturgist, pastoral musician, and an educator. He is the Director of Music and Liturgy at Saint Patrick Catholic Community located in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Bacon is also an internationally acclaimed conductor who has been privileged to work with many music masters, such as John Rutter, Joseph Martin, Heather Sorenson, and Dr. Peter Tiboris. Choirs, under his direction, have performed throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York City and Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Italy.
Saint Patrick Parish Choir is the all-volunteer adult choir at Saint Patrick Catholic Community located in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas. This choir is featured each Sunday morning
at the 10:00 a.m. Mass, and all at special Feasts, Solemnities, and major concert and other liturgical experiences throughout the year. This pilgrimage marks the Saint Patrick Parish Choir’s first ever international choral pilgrimage.
